International News: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is lodged in Pakistan's jail, has reacted to the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, India. He called the attack a "serious and tragedy", in which many soldiers were martyred. Imran wrote on X (Twitter), "The loss of human life is extremely painful. I express deep condolences to the victims and their families."
While on one hand Imran Khan expressed condolences, on the other hand he did not refrain from giving advice to India. Imran said, "India should adopt a responsible attitude. Peace is our priority, but do not forget to consider it weakness. Pakistan has every type of strategic ability, like we responded in 2019."
Imran Khan once again reiterated the Kashmir raga and the Kashmiris reiterated the right to self -determination, citing the proposals of the United Nations. He claimed that Pakistan will always remain the voice of Kashmiris and support them.
In his statement, Imran Khan launched a scathing attack on Pakistan's current ruling forces. He said, "People like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari will never speak against India because their black earnings and assets are abroad. They are afraid that if India becomes Naraj, their foreign assets may be forfeited."
Imran Khan also expressed concern over the internal politics of Pakistan. He said that political hatred and hunger for power are hollowing out the country from within. "If we have to fight external enemies, first we have to establish unity within the country," he said.
