Gaza starvation… 40 thousand children will die if help is not provided. Trump also appealed to Netanyahu.

International News: On Monday, the Gaza Health Ministry said that at least 14 people, including an infant, had died in the past 24 hours due to Israeli starvation of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. With these new deaths, the total number of people who have died from starvation since the aid ban imposed by Israel has risen to 147, including 88 children. Local officials say that 40 thousand infants are at risk of imminent death due to the Israeli blockade of aid.

Let us tell you that the level of blockade on the Palestinian territory has been fluctuating, but since March, Israel has banned all types of food and aid from reaching the hungry Palestinians. Infant Mohammed Ibrahim Adas was also among those who died on Monday morning. This situation of starvation has also raised the concerns of Israel-supporting US President Donald Trump. Trump has urged Netanyahu to take immediate action, as pictures of emaciated children have emerged there.

Infants suffering from severe malnutrition

Officials at Gaza's war-torn Al-Shifa hospital announced Adas' death, saying she had died from severe malnutrition and a lack of infant formula. Muhammad Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa Hospital, warned that thousands more could die in a similar way. "We warn of a rapid increase in deaths, as all areas of the Gaza Strip have reached a critical stage of starvation," Abu Salmiya told Al Jazeera. There is increasing pressure on Israel to provide aid to Gaza.

As the number of people dying of hunger increases, opposition to Israel's sanctions is also growing around the world. President Donald Trump on Monday changed his stance on Gaza, expressing concern over the humanitarian situation and urging Israeli leader Netanyahu to send help, as pictures of emaciated children have emerged there.
