Trump's Peace Proposal: Hamas has stated that it has agreed to some aspects of US President Donald Trump's peace plan. These include ending the Gaza War, releasing Israeli hostages, and handing over administration of the enclave. However, the organisation also clarified that it would like to further negotiate on several other conditions.

Hamas has officially responded to Trump's 20-point plan. The US president gave the organisation time until Sunday to accept or reject the proposal. It is not yet clear whether Trump is willing to negotiate on the terms Hamas is demanding.

Hamas is ready for peace

Trump stated that he believes Hamas is ready for peace. He appealed to Israel to stop the bombing of Gaza so that the hostages could be evacuated and taken out soon. Trump shared this message on his social media platform, 'Truth Social'.

However, Hamas did not mention the disarmament condition in its statement. This demand had already been made by both Israel and the US, and the organisation has rejected it.

Hamas said that it appreciate Arabia, Islamic and international efforts, as well as the efforts of US President Trump. The organisation termed the war, the exchange of prisoners, and the appeal to provide humanitarian aid immediately.
