Rawalpindi: High-voltage drama was seen outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, adjacent to Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, on Tuesday night. The police allegedly used violence to remove the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan's sisters, Nooreen Khanum Niazi, Alima Khanum, and Dr. Uzma Khan, from their sit-in. Police used force at 12:30 at night. The sisters were dragged, and their dupatta was pulled from their heads. PTI Senator Allama Raja Naseer called the government a 'Yazidi breed.' Is the government so desperate to stop Imran's message?

Police took the sisters to Chakri police station

In the viral video, the sisters were seen sitting on dharna at the jail gate; the police used batons. When Nooreen's health deteriorated, Alima took care of her. The police took all three to Chakri police station; they were released after some time. PTI leaders created a ruckus. A fair was organized outside the jail. Journalist Harmeet Singh, who was doing live coverage, was also beaten up. The police misbehaved with the women and reminded them of Karbala. Was this an attempt to suppress Imran's message?

Ban on meeting for 3 weeks—why does Imran's message scare the Shahbaz government?

Imran has been in jail since August 2023. If the sisters had met, their message would have been posted on X, which would have exposed Army Chief Asim Munir and PM Shahbaz Sharif. To prevent Imran's message from going viral, there was a ban on meeting him for three weeks. PTI claimed that the government is scared. Senator Naseer said that Yazid Fauj had pulled the sheet in Karbala; this too was of the same breed. Is Imran's message keeping PTI alive?

Has a new movement started outside Adiala Jail?

At night, PTI leaders gathered outside the police station and created a lot of ruckus. Sloganeering also took place during this period. The attack on Imran's sisters was described as the government's panic. Will this become a new protest? Talks of 'Jungle Raj' are hot again in Pakistan. Now in this matter it has to be seen whether this step will prove costly for the Pakistani government or whether the voice of the opponents will be suppressed once again.
