International News: Even though there has been a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, the war between the two countries has not stopped. Even today, both countries are fighting an intelligence and psychological war against each other. Many experts are even saying that this war has not ended but has stopped to prepare for a bigger war. Iran's defense minister has confirmed this comment in his recent statement.

Iran's defense minister said the Islamic republic does not trust the current ceasefire with Israel and has prepared several military scenarios in case a fresh war breaks out. According to a statement released on Iran's state media, Aziz Nasirzadeh told Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler on the phone on Monday, "Iran does not trust the ceasefire. That is why we have anticipated several scenarios for any new misadventure."

“We are not against talks.”

The Defense Minister also told his Turkish counterpart that we do not want to promote war and insecurity in the region, but we are ready to give a strong response to any aggressive action, which will make the enemy regret it.

Nasirzadeh criticized the timing of the attacks, saying, "Iran was attacked during negotiations. We have proved to the world that we are not against negotiations and compromise."

12 days of battle

On June 13, Israel launched a massive surprise airstrike against Iran, hitting several nuclear and military installations in the initial phase of the 12-day conflict. The Israeli airstrikes killed hundreds of Iranian civilians, while Iran's retaliatory strikes also killed 27 Israelis and damaged several buildings and military installations. Following the Israeli attacks, the Iran-US nuclear talks scheduled to be held in Muscat on June 15 were cancelled.
