International News: Iran has hanged its own nuclear scientist Rujveh Wadi on charges of treason. According to the Iranian government, Wadi has been sentenced to death on the orders of the Supreme Judiciary. Wadi was accused of spying for Mossad during the war with Israel in June 2025. According to Iran's Supreme Judiciary, the plaintiff had given information to Mossad about his friend and a nuclear scientist of the country. Due to this information, that nuclear scientist was killed by Mossad.

Rujveh met Mossad agents 5 times

According to local media, Ruzveh was arrested in February 2024. Initially, he was accused of sharing information about Iran's nuclear centers with Israel. Ruzveh was accused of meeting Mossad agents on at least 5 occasions for espionage. According to Iran Human Rights, before being arrested, Wadi reportedly worked as a nuclear expert at the Atomic Energy Organization in Tehran. After his arrest, he was kept in the notorious Evin prison.

Mossad Recruited Iranian Plaintiff Online

Mizan, the website of Iran's supreme judiciary, says that the plaintiff was recruited by Mossad online. The plaintiff fell into Mossad's trap and gave all the confidential information to Mossad. Israel says that its spies have been living in Iran for many years. It was on the basis of Mossad's information that Israel killed 12 Iranian nuclear scientists.

Who was the nuclear scientist Roujveh?

Ruzbeh Vadi was called Iran's rising nuclear scientist. He did his early studies at Zanjan University. According to ResearchGate, in 2010 he moved to Amir Kabir University, where he studied nuclear-related subjects.

After this, Wadi started doing research on the nuclear program. Wadi has worked as a researcher in Iran Khodro Group, Tehran Polytechnic, and the National Nuclear Security Center. More than 10 research models of Wadi have been published on the nuclear program.
