How did Iran retaliate against America?

After the US attacks, Iran fired missiles and drones from its territory. The IRGC said it retaliated to repel the attackers. According to the organization, a heavy ballistic missile attack was carried out on Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan. In this attack, it has been claimed that the hangars housing RQ-4 and MQ-9 drones were targeted.

In a statement broadcast on Iran's state broadcaster IRIB, the IRGC claimed that several drones were destroyed, while some US aircraft and technical personnel were also hit. In addition, fires were reported in several parts of the technical infrastructure. However, these claims were not immediately confirmed by America or Jordan.

What is the threat to the Strait of Hormuz?

Iran has threatened to stop oil exports from the Gulf. The Strait of Hormuz is an extremely important route for global oil supplies. The fear of its closure may increase pressure on crude oil prices in the international market.
