New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing tension in the Middle East, Israel has clearly rejected Pakistan's role as mediator. Israel's Ambassador to India Reuven Azar said that his country does not consider Pakistan trustworthy in this process. This statement has come at a time when America is trying to take forward talks with Pakistan on an issue related to Iran.

Did Israel directly reject Pakistan?

Ambassador Azar unequivocally stated that Pakistan lacks credibility in this matter. According to him, America is using Pakistan for its own reasons, but Israel has a different view.

Is America pursuing its strategy?

Azar also said in gestures that in the past also America has been including such countries in talks about which questions have been raised. Giving examples like Qatar and Turkey, he said that the move is part of Washington's old strategy.

Has the situation in Lebanon worsened?

Meanwhile, the situation in Lebanon has become more tense. Reports indicate attacks in the capital Beirut, resulting in numerous fatalities and a significant number of injuries. The escalation has increased concern in the entire area.

Does the ceasefire include Lebanon?

US President Donald Trump has clearly said that Lebanon is not part of this ceasefire. According to him, the situation there is different and it is being viewed the same way.

Is Pakistan still trying to negotiate?

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited both sides to visit Islamabad. He says that a solution can be found through talks and efforts are on.

Could this further increase diplomatic tension?

It is clear from this whole incident that the thinking of different countries is different. America wants talks, Pakistan wants to play a role, but Israel's objection may complicate the matter further.

Can the situation worsen further?

The picture is not clear yet. Talks are happening, but the conflict on the ground seems unending. In such a situation, it is difficult to say whether there will be relief soon or not. At present, everyone's eyes are on the coming few days, it will be known from here whether the matter calms down or gets more complicated.
