Tel Aviv: A new video of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has surfaced, in which he is seen drinking coffee at a shop. This video emerged on social media amidst rumors spreading false reports regarding his demise. In the video, Netanyahu humorously remarks, "People are saying that Bibi (Netanyahu's nickname) is dead. Is that what you're asking, too?" He then held up both his hands to the camera and added, "People can even count my fingers."
These speculations began when Benjamin Netanyahu shared a video on his X account on Friday, in which he appeared to be addressing a press conference regarding the conflict with Iran. After the video was posted, some social media users claimed that six fingers were visible on Netanyahu's right hand. A small fleshy protrusion visible near his little finger—at around the 35-second mark—was mistaken by some for a sixth finger, leading them to attribute it to a glitch in an AI-generated image.
In the latest video, Benjamin Netanyahu states that he loves coffee dearly and holds an equally deep affection for his people. Commending the courage and resilience of Israeli citizens during this time of war, he said, "It is this very spirit of our nation's people that gives strength to me, the government, the Israeli security forces, and the Mossad." Netanyahu also noted that Israel is conducting vigorous strikes against Iran, and operations are continuing in Lebanon as well. However, he added that, for security reasons, he could not disclose all details at this time.
Benjamin Netanyahu Prime Minister of Israel just shut down the rumors about his wellbeing.

He appealed to citizens to step outside and get some fresh air, but urged them to remain close to a safe shelter and to continue following the directives issued by the Home Front Command. At the end of the video, Netanyahu jokingly remarked to the coffee shop attendant, "Thanks for the coffee; it's fantastic... though I have my doubts about the calorie count." According to a report by Iran's state-run news agency, Fars News, the IRGC stated that if Netanyahu "is still alive, we will continue to pursue him and eliminate him with full force."
Earlier in the day, Benjamin Netanyahu's office dismissed rumors circulating on social media claiming that he had been assassinated in an Iranian retaliatory strike. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office stated, "These are completely fake reports; the Prime Minister is safe." On Sunday, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have carried out missile and drone attacks on three U.S. military bases located in the Middle East. Additionally, it issued a stern warning regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The IRGC claimed to have targeted the Al-Harir Airbase in Erbil, Iraq, as well as the Ali Al-Salem and Arifjan military bases in Kuwait during the attacks. The IRGC stated that these bases were struck using powerful Iranian missiles and drones. It described this operation as part of the 52nd wave of "Operation True Promise-4," adding that it serves as retaliation for the deaths of workers in Iran's industrial sectors during the recent conflict.
