Israel Strikes Iran After Tehran Launches Missiles at Tel Aviv

On Sunday, Israel's Air Force (IAF) carried out a new wave of airstrikes targeting military sites in western Iran. This move came shortly after Iran fired ballistic missiles at various locations in Israel, injuring civilians. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed the strikes and said that missile launchers and Iranian military personnel were also targeted and destroyed.

Missile Strikes Hit Central Israel

According to Israeli media, missiles from Iran impacted in multiple areas, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, and central Israel. Sirens were heard in northern parts of the country, and citizens were advised to take shelter. The IDF hit primed missile launchers in fresh strikes on western Iran. Israel Media Reported.

Emergency services updated the number of people hurt during the attacks. Magen David Adom (MDA) said 16 individuals were injured—one man was moderately hurt by shrapnel, while 15 others suffered minor injuries. In Haifa, one missile landed without any siren warning beforehand.

Condemnation and International Involvement

Oren Marmorstein, a spokesperson for Israel’s Foreign Ministry, condemned Iran for targeting civilian areas with missiles. He posted on X condemning the attacks on Israeli cities.

Meanwhile, both the United States and Israel responded strongly. Military sites in Iran’s Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow—known for uranium enrichment—were targeted. Reports from media suggest that the U.S. used B-2 bombers to drop powerful "bunker buster" bombs on the Fordow nuclear site.

President Trump's Warning to Iran

In a national address from the White House on Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke after the strikes. He warned Iran that stronger measures would follow if a peaceful solution was not reached soon. Trump stated, “There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we've witnessed over the last eight days.
