Vance on Charlie Kirk Murder: US Vice President J.D. Vance on Monday remembered his close friend and conservative activist Charlie Kirk, saying that the truest way to pay tribute to him is to try to be a better person in your family and society. He said this during "The Charlie Kirk Show," which was broadcast live from the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and shown in the White House Press Briefing Room.

Vance said, "I am replacing a person whom no one can replace, but I will try my best." It is noteworthy that 31-year-old Kirk was shot dead at Utah Valley University. Vance brought his body to Arizona last week on Air Force Two.

Vance and Kirk's deep friendship

Vance shared moments spent with Kirk's wife, Erica, in the program. He said that Kirk always treated the family with respect and never shouted at anyone. Vance said, "At that moment I realized that I have to become a better person, husband, and father. This will be a true tribute to my friend."

Strong message on political violence and hate

Vance condemned those who celebrated Kirk's death and launched a scathing attack on the far left. He said that his family has also been a victim of hate. Vance referred to the incident at Disneyland, when some people said derogatory things to his children. He said, "This behavior is not normal but completely abnormal and inhuman."

Charlie Kirk—the joyful warrior of the country

Vance described Kirk as a "joyful warrior of the country" and appealed to the public to reject political violence. He said that those who are celebrating this murder should be publicly exposed. Vance also said that the Trump administration will work to stop those forces, which target Americans just because of ideological differences.

Final message—unity and truth

Vance finally said, "Real unity will come only when we accept the truth. This will be the greatest tribute to Charlie's memory."
