Op Sindoor: In a latest admission, a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander has revealed that Indian army “tore into pieces” the family of terror mastermind Masood Azhar during the Op Sindoor strikes in Bahawalpur.

A viral video has been circulated on the social media showcasing, JeM commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri recalling the May 7 assault, and stating how Indian forces blowed up their hideout. 

“Embracing terrorism, we fought Delhi, Kabul and Kandahar for protecting the borders of this country. After sacrificing everything, on May 7, Maulana Masood Azhar's family was torn apart by Indian forces in Bahawalpur,” Kashmiri can be heard saying in Urdu.

Operation Sindoor after Pahalgam terror attack

Operation Sindoor strikes was carried out by Indian Army, Navy and Air Force in response to the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam that killed 26 civilians. 

After the Indian army strikes in Operation Sindoor, Pakistani media claimed Azhar himself as acknowledging that 10 of his family members died in Bahawalpur.
