International News:At just 21 years old, Krishangi Meshram has etched her name in history by becoming the youngest solicitor of England and Wales. Belonging to an Indian family, her remarkable success has not only made her homeland proud but has also set an example for aspiring students worldwide who dream of a career in law.
Krishangi was born in West Bengal and spent her childhood in the ISKCON Mayapur community. She completed her school education at an international institution in Mayapur, finishing her secondary studies at the age of 15. Instead of choosing a conventional route, she made a bold decision to pursue higher studies in law much earlier than most of her peers.
Soon after completing school, she joined the Open University in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, to study law. At only 15 years of age, she was one of the youngest students to ever be accepted into the program. Within three years, she completed her law degree and graduated with first-class honours at the age of 18, becoming the university’s youngest-ever graduate.
While reflecting on her journey, Krishangi expressed her heartfelt thanks to the Open University for giving her the opportunity to pursue legal studies at such a young age. She said that her years at the university not only gave her a strong academic foundation but also helped her discover her deep passion for law.
After securing her degree, Krishangi stepped into the professional world in 2022, joining an international law firm. Over time, she also gained international exposure by working in Singapore and taking part in specialized global programs. Among them were advanced courses from Harvard Online, which added to her professional development and widened her legal understanding.
Presently based in the United Arab Emirates, Krishangi is actively seeking new opportunities in both the UK and UAE. Her areas of interest include financial technology, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and private client services such as wills and probate. She is determined to specialize in modern, client-centered legal practices that blend technology with traditional law.
Krishangi has set her sights on working with leading international law firms where she can serve both businesses and private clients. Her long-term vision is to play a key role in transforming legal services by making them more adaptable to the digital era and more focused on client needs.
At such a young age, Krishangi Meshram has already achieved milestones that many only dream of. Her story highlights the power of hard work, discipline, and courage to take unconventional paths. Today, she stands as a role model for young students, especially in India, proving that with dedication and vision, age is no barrier to success.
