Tehran: On Monday morning, the people of Kuwait woke up to the loud sound of sirens. The entire country came together on alert. According to reports, the attack was carried out by missiles and drones from Iran. As soon as the siren sounded, there was chaos on the streets. Out of fear, people came out of their homes and ran towards bunkers and safe places. Kuwait's army immediately took charge and activated the air defence system.

What did Kuwait News Agency tell?

KUNA i.e. Kuwait News Agency reported that warning sirens continued to sound in every corner of the country. The army put air defence on 100% active mode so that missiles and drones could be stopped in the air. Officials say that the threat of attack was already there, so preparations were complete. For this reason the army immediately came into action.

Why did America take action against Iran?

Meanwhile, the American Central Command i.e. US CENTCOM also opened its front. America admitted that it had taken military action against Iran. US says that this step was taken in self-defence. A few days ago, Iran targeted the American MQ-1 drone flying over international waters. The same was answered.

What was targeted in the American attack?

The US military reported that the action was limited. The aim was not to escalate the war, it was only for our own security. America targeted some air defence systems, ground control stations and drone bases of Iran. Radar and drone control sites in the Goruk area and Qeshm Island were also bombed.

Did tension also increase between Israel and Lebanon?

The turmoil in the Middle East did not stop just at Kuwait and Iran. As US-Iran talks cooled down, Israel intensified attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. There were explosions in many areas of Lebanon on Sunday. Many buildings were razed to the ground. This has increased the tension in the entire area.

Are efforts being made to resolve the matter through talks?

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke on the phone with the leaders of Israel and Lebanon. Rubio said that fighting will do nothing, find a way out through talks. America also offered a deal. Said that if Hezbollah stops attacks on Israel, then Israel will also stop bombing Beirut. But no definite answer has come yet. Things don't seem to be working out. From Kuwait to Lebanon, the Middle East is once again sitting on a powder keg. The voice of diplomacy has been drowned amidst sirens, missiles and drones.
