Dubai: Iran launched a massive retaliatory attack on Israel and the United States, launching attacks across the Middle East, including Dubai. These attacks caused significant damage. The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower, was evacuated after explosions were heard in central Dubai. Videos on social media showed the attack taking place near the Burj Khalifa. However, the relief was that the attack occurred far away from the Burj Khalifa. Residents in downtown Dubai reported hearing a rumble and then an explosion, with some reporting that the windows of tall buildings shook. The evacuation was described as a precautionary measure amid concerns about falling debris from intercepted missiles.

Iran also attacked Dubai's iconic Palm Jumeirah, targeting a hotel there, causing a fire. The Dubai Media Office said emergency response teams were deployed after reports of an explosion in a building on the man-made island. Dubai Civil Defence confirmed the fire was under control. Four people were injured and taken to a medical facility. Authorities secured the area and urged residents to rely only on official updates.
Residents in the Sheikh Zayed Road corridor reported loud explosions and flashing lights in the sky. The area near the Fairmont Dubai, a famous high-rise hotel, was among the areas where residents reported windows shaking when the explosions occurred from above.
Although no direct impact has been confirmed, residents of the Marina Towers reported hearing the explosions clearly, with some reporting vibrations in their homes. Many went to their balconies to watch streaks of light disappear in the sky.
Although it has not been confirmed as the site of the attack, the large Jebel Ali area – which houses significant port and logistics infrastructure – was one of the areas where residents reported hearing distant explosions. Dubai's Jebel Ali Port is considered a frequent port for US Navy ships.
