In the cooperative operation of the Indian Army, most terror strongholds in Pakistan were laid waste. This air strike was also welcomed by Pakistan without any hesitation. Usman Jalees, a deputy commissioner of Sheikhupura district in Muridke, Pakistan, stated that at midnight, India had launched two missiles and the second two attacks were made after some time.The official added that four strikes were conducted in under 10 minutes. Nine terrorist targets were hit in Pakistan, of which five are attributed to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). All these bases were hit by planning with full precaution of not endangering civilians' lives. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh asserted that Operation Sindoor was retaliation against the heinous terror attack at Pahalgam on April 22.
