International News: Pakistan has seen political disintegration amid increasing tension against India. After the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan's Federal Information Minister and an army spokesperson on Sunday announced a high -level briefing to the leaders of all political parties. In this briefing, the security preparations of Pakistan's armed forces and increasing tension with India were to be discussed. But former Prime Minister Imran Khan's party PTI refused to participate in this briefing.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) accused the government that it did not make any effort to build any serious national consent. PTI said that this briefing is unilateral and the government did not make any attempt to call a multi -party conference. The party also said that if the government had taken steps properly, all the parties would have got an opportunity to sit together and talk.
Pakistan Information Minister Ataullah Tarar and Army spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary announced to organize this briefing. In this briefing, information about Pakistan's national security status, armed forces' security preparations and diplomatic efforts were to be shared. Meanwhile, the Government of Pakistan also explained its official stance on increasing tension with India.

Army Chief General Aseem Munir said that Pakistan will strictly answer any kind of audacity. In addition, Pakistan has intensified its sensitive military preparations along the Line of Control.
PTI issued a statement saying that no multi -party efforts have been made by the government and therefore, the party decided to join the briefing. PTI has always clarified its stance against terrorism, but the party believed that the government should have taken a joint step by taking the opposition in confidence in the right way.
