Pakistan Elections 2024: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan has announced victory in the national elections, asserting that his political party has emerged as the largest in the vote and will explore the possibility of forming a coalition government.

However, Nawaz Sharif did not disclose the exact number of seats his party had secured as the counting process was still underway for the remaining seats out of the 265 that were contested.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), led by Nawaz Sharif, has secured 42 seats according to the latest count published by the election panel. However, this falls significantly short of the 133 seats required to form a government independently.
