International News: Pakistan is paying for its actions. The terrorism that Pakistan nurtured has now become the enemy of its own life. Be it TTP or Baloch rebels, they have made life difficult for the Pakistani army. Not a single day passes without news of an attack and without a funeral in Pakistan. TTP has released a list of attacks from January till now. It has been claimed that till now 1377 attacks have been carried out on Pakistani security forces. It has also been claimed that 832 Pakistani security forces have been killed in these attacks.

1108 people were injured in these attacks and 57 have been kidnapped. TTP has also carried out 27 attacks on the Pakistani army in Balochistan while coming out of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

501 Attacks in 6 Months, Forces Targeted

After the TTP released its figures, the Balochistan Home Department also published data on terrorist attacks from January 1 to July 11. According to the report, 501 attacks were recorded, resulting in 257 deaths and 492 injuries. Most attacks targeted Pakistani security forces, with 332 being direct assaults. Baloch rebels claimed responsibility, stating that 133 security personnel were killed and 338 injured. Ambushes, remote-controlled bombs, and grenades were commonly used. The department also shared data on attacks against non-locals, reporting a 100% increase compared to last year. While 22 non-Baloch individuals were killed in the same period last year, this year’s figure has risen to 52.

Rebel Claims Challenge Official Narrative

Baloch rebel groups have disputed the government’s data. Both BLF and BLA released their own figures for the first half of the year. According to BLA, 284 attacks were conducted between January and June, resulting in 724 security personnel deaths and 373 injuries. The group also claimed to have seized 20 weapons, taken 58 soldiers hostage, and captured 5 military camps. Their Majeed Brigade reportedly carried out three suicide attacks in Mach, Gwadar, and Karachi. Other elite units like Fatah Squad and STOS were active in Nushki, Kalat, and Quetta.

BLF Reports More Attacks, Weapons

Alongside BLA, the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) also released its attack statistics. The group claimed responsibility for 302 attacks, saying that 221 security personnel were killed and 148 injured. Interestingly, the BLF reported seizing over 131 weapons—significantly more than BLA’s claimed 20. The group emphasized its operational scale and reach, presenting itself as a growing threat to Pakistani security operations in the region.
