US President Donald Trump Exposes Pakistan, Calls Out Shehbaz Sharif’s Claims

Lebanon: Tension in the Middle East has not stopped yet. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had claimed that the ceasefire between America, Iran and their allies will also affect Lebanon. But his talk could not last long. America and Israel made it clear that Lebanon is not part of this agreement.

What did America and Israel say?

America clearly said that this ceasefire is limited only to the front related to Iran. There was no consensus on including Lebanon in it. Israel also said without any hesitation that its military action will continue in Lebanon and this agreement does not apply there. Prime Minister Netanyahu said that the fight with Hezbollah is a separate issue and it has been kept out of the ceasefire.

Why do attacks continue in Lebanon?

Just hours after the ceasefire was announced, Israel launched massive air strikes in Lebanon. Hundreds of people were killed and hundreds were injured in these attacks. Israel says its target is Hezbollah, which it considers a major threat to its security. Therefore, we are not ready to step back on this front.

Why was there confusion about ceasefire?

This entire controversy arose mainly because of misunderstanding. Pakistan PM Sharif said the ceasefire would apply "everywhere", including Lebanon. But America and Israel clearly rejected it. US Vice President JD Vance said that neither the US nor Israel had ever agreed to include Lebanon. This contradiction further complicated the situation.

Could tensions increase further?

It is clear from the continuous attacks and different statements in Lebanon that the situation is not stable yet. If no clear consensus is reached regarding Lebanon, this conflict may take a bigger form. There is a possibility of increasing instability in the entire region.

Iran has also warned, calling these attacks a violation of the ceasefire. At the same time, the people of Lebanon and Hezbollah are talking about responding to Israel's actions. Pakistan had presented itself as a mediator, but this development is raising questions on its efforts. At present, hopes for peace in the Middle East seem weak.
