Sultan Chaudhary On India Action: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, where the discussion of retaliation in India is in full swing, there is an atmosphere of panic in Pakistan. The week has passed through the attack, but no "kinetic action" has been taken by India so far. Despite this, the leaders in Pakistan have lost their nights.
Sultan Chaudhary, who is called the 'President' of Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK), even said that India can attack at any time. He appealed to the United Nations that the situation has become quite stressful and if the UN has not yet intervened, the situation may worsen.
Sultan Chaudhary said during a press conference on Tuesday night, "A lot of activities are happening. Anything can happen. It is clear from his statement that Pakistan is now openly trying to resort to international forums so that India can be stopped somehow. But the interesting thing is that India has not yet attacked - yet Pakistan is restless.
To what extent the fear has spread in Pakistan, it can be gauged from the fact that the leaders there are holding a press conference at 2:30 pm. On Wednesday, Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said in a press briefing, "The possibility of struggle with India is increasing ... God should save us from war."
His statement directly shows the fear that India's answer will no longer be limited to just words.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a long meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and top army officials on Wednesday. According to sources, it was given clear instructions in this meeting that the army has been given a free hand - that is, now the army will decide when, how and where to answer.
26 innocent tourists were killed in this attack, and this has become a major internal security question for India. The government does not want to relax this time.
India may not have taken any direct action yet, but the kind of seriousness that has been seen in Prime Minister Modi's meetings, Pakistan's concern is reasonable. Be it POK leaders or Pakistan's Defense Minister, everyone is saying that India can attack. The question is when and how will India answer?
On the other hand, Pakistan is running on international forums. UN, OC and 'Friends countries' are being requested for help. But it is also clear that now India is no longer a condemnation - preparations are being made to give a direct answer to those who support terrorism.
At the moment, everyone's eyes are on India's next step. Will India enter POK and do any surgical strike or airspack? Or will this answer come in some other way? It is certain that India is not in a mood to sit silent, and Pakistan's nervousness is proof of this.
It remains to be seen whether this diplomatic race of Pakistan reaches any conclusion or India will clear its intentions through another decisive action.
