Trump Says Iran Ready for Deal After ‘Defeat’, Claims No Nuclear Weapons Future (Image Courtesy: Instagram)
Washington: US President Donald Trump has once again given a big statement saying that America has taken the lead in the ongoing conflict against Iran. He says that the situation is such that America is in a strong position and Iran has become weak. He said this during a program, where he also mentioned the current situation and talks.
Trump claimed that Iran's navy and air force are almost destroyed. According to him, Iran's communication systems have also been badly affected and now it has very little ability to respond. Trump said that America is currently in a position where it can negotiate on its own terms.
In his statement, Trump also said that American planes are flying over different parts of Iran and Iran does not have the ability to stop them. He called it an indication that America is far ahead militarily and Iran is left behind.
Trump made another interesting claim saying that Iran has given a big “gift” to America. Although he did not disclose it completely, he definitely said that it is very important and it indicates that the talks are going in the right direction.
When he was asked whether this gift was related to the nuclear program, Trump clarified that it was not related to nuclear. According to him, this is a matter related to oil and gas, which plays an important role in the situation in the region.
Trump also said that Iran has agreed not to possess nuclear weapons. He claims that a consensus has been reached on this issue and further talks will proceed on this basis.
It certainly seems from Trump's statements that talks and pressure are going on simultaneously. However, official confirmation of these claims has not been revealed yet, so only in the coming time will it become clear in which direction the situation will go.
