Washington: US President Donald Trump has once again given a big statement regarding the Russia-Ukraine war and India-Pakistan tension. On Tuesday, Trump said that there is deep hatred between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, due to which peace talks between the two countries are not progressing.
Trump claimed that he has stopped eight wars so far, including the rising tension between India and Pakistan. According to him, the conflict was gradually reaching a point where the danger of nuclear conflict could arise.
Trump said, "There is tremendous hatred between Putin and Zelensky. I have resolved eight wars. The situation between Pakistan and India was becoming very serious. We prevented a possible nuclear war." He also said that during that period eight fighter planes were shot down and the situation was deteriorating rapidly.

The US President also added that the only war he has not been able to resolve so far is the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. According to Trump, the Prime Minister of Pakistan had told him that his initiative saved millions of lives. However, Trump did not clarify what the basis of this claim is.
On the India-Pakistan issue, Trump has said many times before that he had used trade and tariffs to put pressure on both the countries. He claims that he had warned that if there was no ceasefire, America would break trade relations with both the countries.
However, India has clearly rejected these claims of Trump. India says that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan took place after the DGMO-level talks between the two countries, which were initiated by Pakistan. India also clarified that there was no role for any third country in this process.
Meanwhile, regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, the US has said that Russia is still committed to a peace solution. US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said that important talks took place in Miami, Florida, regarding the Ukraine peace plan.
According to Witkoff, Russia's special envoy Kirill Dmitriev held two days of meetings with the US delegation. In these meetings, there was discussion on taking forward Trump's peace plan. Apart from Steve Witkoff, the American team also included Jared Kushner and senior White House official Josh Gruenbaum.
The American ambassador said that Russia is fully ready to establish peace in Ukraine and considers America's role important in this direction. He also said that Russia values America's cooperation in strengthening global security.
After Trump's statements and these meetings, the question has once again arisen whether any concrete path will be found towards ending the Russia-Ukraine war or whether this conflict is going to drag on for a long time.
