Trump’s Tariff Boost: Over $500 Billion in Annual Revenue Expected, Green Signal for Chinese Students

Income increased from tariffs

Besant informed the White House Cabinet meeting that there has been a significant increase in the income from tariffs between July and August. He said that the earlier estimates, i.e., the rate of $300 billion, are now proving to be very low. There is a possibility of a bigger increase in this between August and September.

He claimed that due to this increase, the US budget deficit will be reduced significantly. Besant's statement has come at a time when questions are constantly being raised on the US economy, and in the election environment, the Trump government is presenting its economic steps as a big achievement.

Chinese students will get entry

In the same meeting, President Trump made another big announcement. He said that America will allow six lakh Chinese students to study in its universities. This decision is surprising for many people, because his government had increased strictness on international students for some time.
