Russia-Ukraine War (Social Media)

International News: The war between Ukraine and Russia took a new turn when Ukraine attacked an airbase about 4000 kilometers inside Russia through a mobile drone operation and destroyed more than 40 bomber planes. This attack was not traditional, but an example of cutting-edge technology and strategy, in which an FPV (First Person View) drone was transported to the airbase through a normal truck, avoiding Russia's deep security system.

Unique drone attack and lapse in Russia's security system

According to the report, local people saw suspicious trucks in Russian areas like Murmansk and Irkutsk. FPV drones were flown from the trailer of this truck, which were controlled by the operator with a remote control. The drone is targeted through a live feed on the headset or screen. This technique completely surprised Russia's air defense because the drones were launched from very close and there was no time to respond.

Big success: More than 40 bombers destroyed

Ukrainian security officials said at least 41 Russian military aircraft were destroyed in the attack, including large bombers like the Tu-95 and Tu-22M3. The attack took place at Belaya Airbase in Irkutsk and Oleny Airbase in Murmansk, which are about 4000 kilometers away from Ukraine. This is the first time Ukraine has carried out a drone attack in such a deep area of Russia.

Planning and monitoring of the operation

The operation was prepared about one and a half years ago and was carried out under the supervision of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Drones hidden in trucks crossed the border and reached near the airbase and attacked from there. This is not only a big success from a military point of view, but it also shows Ukraine's ability to target Russia's domestic areas.

Russia's strong response

A few hours after the attack, Russia retaliated and fired 472 drones and 7 missiles on Ukraine. In this attack, 12 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and more than 60 were injured. After this, a senior commander of the Ukrainian army, Mikhailo Drapatyi, resigned, which shows the intensity and psychological pressure of this war.

Direction of war in future

This 'guerrilla drone warfare' of Ukraine has made it clear that in future wars, the importance of smart, mobile and high-tech weapons will increase compared to heavy weapons. Launching drones from trucks and targeting large aircraft is a message to Russia that its borders are no longer completely safe. President Zelensky has also clearly said that Ukraine will take every necessary step for its independence and security.
