Similar security alert on Akasa Air flight

In a related incident, Akasa Air reported a security alert for its Bengaluru to Mumbai flight on Friday. Flight QP 1366 was scheduled to depart when the alert was received. Rising incidents of bomb threats

In recent days, nearly 40 flights operated by Indian carriers have faced bomb threats, all of which were later determined to be hoaxes. This surge in false alarms has prompted India’s Civil Aviation Ministry to consider implementing stricter regulations. One proposed measure includes placing individuals responsible for hoax threats on a no-fly list, a move aimed at curbing such incidents in the future.
