New Delhi: Indian comedian Kapil Sharma has quietly opened a new branch of his hospitality venture, Kap’s Cafe, in Dubai. The cafe began welcoming guests on December 31, 2025, marking the brand’s first outlet in the Middle East. The launch arrived just in time for New Year’s Eve, drawing early buzz among food lovers and fans alike.
Inside, Kap’s Cafe feels unlike most coffee shops in the city. The space uses soft blush pink tones, muted greens and plush seating to create a relaxed, Instagram-ready vibe. Decor elements, including elegant lighting and pastel accents, appear inspired by The Great Indian Kapil Show, the Netflix comedy series hosted by Sharma.
While the full Dubai menu hasn't been officially published, the cafe is offering a mix of Western and Indian comfort foods. Early glimpses shared by a Dubai-based blogger show everything from breakfast toasts and pasta to Indian street-food favourites like pani puri. The most expensive item spotted so far is a Classic Penne dish priced at 62 UAE dirhams (around Rs 1,500). Close behind are Tiramisu Toast and Alfredo Pasta.
Before Dubai, the first international Kap’s Cafe opened in Surrey, Canada. That outlet drew heavy attention, including from news media, after multiple shooting incidents earlier in 2025, though no customers were reported hurt in those attacks. Despite the challenges, Kapil has continued to push his hospitality brand forward.
Kapil himself posted video clips of the cafe on social media. In the footage, he’s seen greeting fans, serving drinks and soaking up the Dubai skyline backdrop, giving the space a warm, personal touch.
The Dubai cafe adds a new dimension to Kapil’s business portfolio and gives fans in the UAE a local spot to enjoy comfort food with a celebrity twist.
