'India Forgives Nothing': IAF Marks One Year of Operation Sindoor With Powerful Video (X: IAF)
New Delhi: Today one year has passed since the Indian Air Force launched 'Operation Sindoor' against Pakistani terrorism after killing of 26 tourists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. On Thursday, IAF released a video to mark the completion of Operation Sindoor and said that "India forgets nothing; India forgives nothing."
The one minute 28 second video was posted on X at exactly 1:05 am. Last year, on the night of May 6-7, Operation Sindoor also began at 1:05 am. For approximately 25 minutes, the Air Force struck the nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK, killing more than 100 terrorists.
The video begins with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement warning terrorists and their masters. The video depicts how, following the Pahalgam attack on April 22, 2025, India and the Indian Army prepared for Operation Sindoor and eliminated terrorists based in Pakistan. It also shows images of the destruction of Pakistan and its military bases during Operation Sindoor.

On April 22, 2025, Pakistan-backed terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 25 tourists and one local pony handler. Following the incident, India on May 7 launched 'Operation Sindoor', targeting Lashkar and Jaish terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. The Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor on the night of May 6 and 7. In about 25 minutes, the Indian Army struck nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK.
The Air Force destroyed hideouts of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen. More than 100 terrorists were killed in this operation. Ten members of Jaish chief and most wanted terrorist Masood Azhar were also killed.
Pakistan was rattled by this Indian action and also attempted to attack India, but the armed forces retaliated with a devastating response. The Indian Army fired missiles at Pakistani airbases and key installations. However, the missiles launched from Pakistan were shot down mid-air by India's air defense systems.
Pakistan engaged the Indian Army for four days. However, when its situation became dire, it requested a ceasefire. On May 10, India responded to Pakistan's request.
