Visuals captured on Sunday evening and Monday afternoon depict clashes involving two groups throwing stones at each other in Mira Road's Naya Nagar area. The incidents unfolded as a Shri Ram Shobha Yatra passed through the locality, leading to heightened tensions.

Over a dozen individuals have been arrested by Monday night in connection with the clashes. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in a post on X, declared severe punishment for anyone attempting to disrupt law and order in the state. Deputy Commissioner of Police Jayant Bajbale provided insights into the conflict, noting it began at 11 pm on Sunday when individuals from the Hindu community were raising slogans in vehicles.
