A tragic incident occurred in Delhi’s Maidangarhi area on Friday morning when a 22-year-old man, Raj Prasad, ended his life by jumping from a building, according to police officials.

Police Respond to Emergency Call

The Delhi Police received a PCR call early on Friday reporting that someone had jumped off a building in Maidangarhi, located in South Delhi. Officers from the Maidangarhi police station immediately reached the location to investigate the situation. On arrival, they identified the deceased as Raj Prasad, a young man who lived in the Chattarpur area near Suman Chowk. Raj worked as a light technician in the film and entertainment industry.

Family Informed, Body Sent for Postmortem

Raj Prasad was originally from Rudrapur in Uttarakhand. His family has been informed about the incident. The authorities have sent his body for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. The area where the incident happened was also examined by the crime investigation team to gather any evidence that might help clarify what led to this tragedy.

Police Begin Probe

A case has been officially registered, and the police have begun looking into the events leading up to Raj’s death.
