AI Impact Summit Starts Today In New Delhi; Global Leaders To Attend Key Event On AI (X)
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 on Monday at 5 pm at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.
The India AI Impact Expo 2026 will be held from February 16 to 20, alongside the India AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam and will be attended by the top global leaders.
The expo will serve as India’s largest demonstration of applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) to date, where policy meets practice, innovation meets scale, and technology meets the everyday citizen.
It is envisioned as a national showcase of artificial intelligence in action, bringing together policy, innovation, and large-scale implementation under one platform.
The five-day AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam will be attended by foreign leaders including Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, France's President Emmanuel Macron, and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, alongside senior government officials, technology executives and researchers from across the world.
Access to the summit is free, with registered visitors receiving QR-code entry passes valid for most days of the event.
"Registration for the event is free. Anyone can register and attend any of the events from February 16 to 20, officials said.
The expo organised alongside the global summit will open to all from Tuesday, February 17, according to the official advisory
Guests will be able to attend the event by simply registering on DigiYatra or scanning the QR code on the India AI Impact Summit app at various entry points.
Those who plan to attend the summit will have access to Bharat Mandapam's main hall area through three gates -- Gate 4, 7, and 10 -- in a restricted manner, according to the official advisory
Spread across 10 arenas covering more than 70,000 square metres, the event will bring together global technology firms, startups, academia, research institutions, Union Ministries, State Governments, and international partners.
The event will feature 13 country pavilions showcasing international collaboration in the AI ecosystem. The countries featured include, Australia, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan and Africa.
The event will host more than 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations will be organised across three thematic "chakras", People, Planet, and Progress.
Over 600 high-potential startups will participate in the event, many of which are building globally relevant and population-scale AI solutions already deployed in real-world settings.
The expo is also expected to attract over 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates.
The India AI Impact Expo 2026 aims to foster global partnerships and business opportunities within the AI ecosystem.
