A teenage girl working at a company in Noida, near Delhi, was allegedly lured into a relationship by a man from a specific community and later raped at an OYO hotel. Based on a complaint filed by the girl's brother, the police arrested the accused and sent him to jail.

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a coworker in Noida's Sector 69 Transport Nagar. The accused, Ejaz, reportedly lured the girl into a relationship and later assaulted her at an OYO hotel in Sector 66. Acting swiftly, the Noida Phase-3 Police arrested the accused based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s brother and sent him to judicial custody.

Incident unfolds at OYO hotel

The victim's brother, a resident of Sector 123, reported that his sister worked as a cleaner at a private company where the accused was also employed. Originally from Faridabad, Ejaz allegedly manipulated the teenager under the guise of a relationship. On November 17, the girl went missing. The family eventually tracked her down to the OYO hotel, where the accused was apprehended on the spot.

The victim informed the police that Ejaz had assaulted her. Based on her statement, the police arrested the accused. "The accused has been taken into custody and presented in court. He has been remanded to judicial custody," confirmed a senior police official.

Separate case: Missing couple found married

In another case reported from Noida Phase-3, a 19-year-old woman and a young man were reported missing on November 19. Investigations revealed that the duo had already married at an Arya Samaj temple before leaving their homes. The girl’s family, residents of Garh Chaukhandi, lodged a missing person report after discovering her absence. Police are now working to locate the couple. A marriage certificate was recovered from the girl’s family, indicating the couple’s intent to legalise their union.

These incidents have raised concerns about safety and familial responsibility in the region, prompting further police investigations.
