New Delhi: Actor Allu Arjun has been summoned by Hyderabad police to appear for questioning today, at 11 a.m. at the Chikkadpally Police Station. He is summoned in connection with the stampede incident that occurred on December 4 during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.The tragic incident resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman, Revathi, and her young son sustained serious injuries. Following the event, a case was registered against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 but was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court the same day. He was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail after spending a night in custody.In response to the incident, Allu Arjun expressed his condolences to the victim&#39s family and announced financial assistance of ₹25 lakh. He said, The incident that took place in the Sandhya theatre is very unfortunate... I&#39m shocked. It took me hours toprocess it and respond to the incident.The police also arrested the owner of Sandhya Theatre and two of his employees in connection with the case. Authorities allege that the actor&#39s unannounced visit and actions during the event contributed to the stampede. However, Allu Arjun and his legal team have maintained that the incident was accidental and unintentional.As the investigation continues, Allu Arjun&#39s appearance before the police today is expected to provide further clarity on the circumstances leading to the tragic incident. The assailants vandalized property, including damaging flower pots, and threw tomatoes at the actor&#39s home. Their actions were in protest, demanding justice for Revathi, the woman who tragically lost her life during the stampede at Sandhya Theatre on 4th December.
