Shah was speaking at the North Zonal Council meeting in Faridabad. His tone was firm and direct as he addressed the issue. The blast killed 15 people and injured many others. Investigating teams are working across several states. Multiple arrests have already been made in the last few days.
Delhi Police and national agencies are carrying out the investigation. Teams are checking every link connected to the attackers. Many suspects have been detained from different parts of the country. Their questioning is still going on. The agencies believe more names may come out. The network behind the attack is being mapped carefully. Officers say the work is being done round the clock. No lead is being ignored by the investigation teams.
The NIA arrested another major terrorist from Srinagar today. His name is Jasir Bilal Wani, also known as Danish. He is from Qazigund area of Jammu and Kashmir. The NIA says Jasir was giving technical help for terror activities. He modified drones to make them fit for attacks. He was even trying to make rockets on his own. Officers claim he supported bomber Umar in preparing for the blast. This arrest is considered very important by the agency.
Investigators say Jasir worked closely with Umar, the key bomber. Both were involved in planning the Delhi attack. Jasir helped in setting up equipment used for the blast. He arranged parts that could be used for delivering explosives. The NIA found digital records linked to him. They say he was part of a wider terror module. His role in the attack was not small. Officers believe he was deeply involved in the preparation.
A day before Jasir’s arrest, another suspect was captured. His name is Aamir Rashid Ali. He is also from Kashmir. The NIA says Aamir helped Umar in plotting the blast. The car used in the attack was registered in Aamir’s name. He reportedly knew what the vehicle would be used for. Aamir worked quietly but played a big role. His arrest has opened more paths for investigation. Agencies are checking all his movements in recent months.
The NIA has called this blast the first suicide attack in Delhi. This has raised major security concerns. Agencies are on high alert in many states. Police are monitoring crowded areas and checking suspicious activities. The government is treating this case as a national threat. The blast has shocked people across the country. Many are demanding strict action. Officers want to ensure such an attack never happens again.
Amit Shah said the attackers will be punished in a way that sends a message to the world. He said those involved will fear even thinking about such violence again. Shah assured that no guilty person will escape. His words show how seriously the government is treating this attack. He said India will strike firmly against terror networks. He also praised the agencies for their fast action. The investigation is expected to intensify in the coming days
