Baba Siddique murder case: Mumbai Police have arrested four suspects in the high-profile murder case of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, with three others still at large. The ongoing investigation has led to the formation of multiple police teams to track down the absconding individuals.

YouTube for learning to shoot

The Mumbai Police revealed that two of the main suspects, Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap, learned to shoot by watching YouTube tutorials. The accused had reportedly practiced shooting in Mumbai without a magazine and prepared for the crime 25 days prior by surveilling Siddique’s residence and office. The shooters had been provided with Siddique’s photo for identification.

Gun recovered, more arrests made

A black bag containing a 7.62 mm firearm was recovered as part of the investigation. Police also arrested a fourth suspect, Harishkumar Balakram, a 23-year-old scrap dealer from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Balakram is accused of providing financial backing and handling logistics for the murder plot.

Two other suspects, Dharmaraj and Shivprasad Gautam, who worked in Balakram’s scrap shop, were also implicated in the conspiracy. The investigation revealed that Baba Siddique, aged 66, was fatally shot near his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Nirmal Nagar, Mumbai, on a Saturday night.
