Kolkata: A tragic incident unfolded in the Surjyapur area of Baruipur, West Bengal. A 12-year-old girl was found dead. She had left her home on Saturday afternoon to purchase a birthday gift for a friend but never returned. Although her family searched for her through the night. They alleged that four individuals had abducted her. They also claimed their initial appeals to the police went unanswered.
The next morning, local residents cornered a suspect who reportedly revealed where the victim was. Her body was subsequently discovered stuffed inside a sack near a local pond in Surjyapur Haat.
