Bihar SIR Voter List: EC releases final voter list

Bihar SIR Voter List: The Election Commission has released the Bihar Special Intensive Revision (SIR) final voter list ahead of the assembly polls. Notably, the revised list is available on the official website of the poll panel. 

According to an official, “In the light of Special Intensive Revision, the final electoral roll dated September 30, 2025, has been published. Any voter can check the details of their name in the voter list through the link, https://voters.eci.gov.in.”

Notably, detailed information related to the exact numbers were not available immediately. However, the earlier draft of the electoral rolls was released on August 1 and were available for "claims and objections" by people and political parties till September 1. As many as 7.24 crore electors were listed in the draft rolls.

Meanwhile, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Bihar has said that physical copies of the roll will be available to all District Election Officers who also serve as District Magistrates. 

It is to be noted that the commission is likely to release the schedule for the Bihar assembly election within a week, as per a report of news agency PTI. 

It is said that the first phase of voting is expected to be conducted after the Chhath festival in late October.
