A 16-year-old boy lost his life following a celebratory firing incident during a birthday party in Patna. According to police reports the incident occurred late Monday night (December 23) at a lodge within the jurisdiction of the Sri Krishnapuri police station.Incident detailsThe victim, identified as Rishu Kumar, sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. Despite being rushed to a private hospital on Boring Canal Road, he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. The bullet was fired during a birthday party.Unlicensed weapon suspectedPreliminary investigations revealed that a group of 5-6 teenagers was partying on the terrace of the lodge when the firing occurred.
