Vivek Oberoi on Bishnoi community: Amid rising concerns for Salman Khan’s safety due to threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, an old speech by actor Vivek Oberoi praising the Bishnoi community has resurfaced and gone viral. This comes in the wake of the shocking murder of senior politician Baba Siddique, allegedly carried out by the gang.

Vivek Oberoi’s speech on the Bishnoi community resurfaces

In a video that has now gained widespread attention, Vivek Oberoi is seen praising the Bishnoi community for their compassion and connection with nature. He stated, “In every household, including mine, we feed cow’s milk to kids. There’s only one community in the whole world – the Bishnoi community – where if a fawn’s mother dies, the Bishnoi mothers take it in their laps and feed them milk like they feed their kids. You won’t find this anywhere else in the world.”

While Oberoi’s speech was intended to highlight the humane values of the Bishnoi community, it has taken on new relevance due to the alleged involvement of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the killing of Baba Siddique.

Salman Khan's security tightened amid threats

Following the assassination of Baba Siddique, who was a close friend of Salman Khan, the actor’s security has been upgraded to Y+ category. Reports from India Today suggest that his security detail now includes police escort cars and a trained constable to accompany him at all times. Salman Khan has also been advised to avoid entertaining visitors at his home for the next few weeks.

Despite the threats, Salman Khan remains accessible to his close circle. A family friend told ETimes, “Salman’s doors have always been open for friends and colleagues in the industry. The family is being cautious, but he hasn’t stopped anyone from visiting his house.”

Salman Khan’s emotional farewell to Baba Siddique

Salman Khan and Baba Siddique shared a deep bond for over two decades. The actor was visibly emotional as he arrived at Siddique’s residence to pay his final respects. Although Salman could not stay long, as he was involved in overseeing funeral arrangements, he was seen leaving the house with tears in his eyes, escorted by tight security.

Security measures extended to Salim Khan and Panvel farmhouse

Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, has also been asked to be vigilant during his daily morning walks in Bandra. Additionally, security has been increased at the actor’s Panvel farmhouse, although Salman now spends more time in Mumbai.

The bond between Salman Khan and Baba Siddique was not just political but personal, marked by years of unwavering friendship. Despite the serious threats, Salman has remained committed to standing by Siddique’s family during this difficult time.
