BJP Government Prepares Delhi Budget After 27-Year Gap, Highlights Core Concerns

Delhi Budget : The budget session 2025-26 has started in the Delhi Assembly. Today, the BJP government of Delhi will present its first budget. After 27 years, the BJP government is going to present its first budget in the Delhi Assembly. In this, preparations are being made to present a budget taking Delhi in the direction of development, focusing on many important issues and election promises. On Monday, the budget session was started with a 'kheer' ceremony as a symbol of the 'sweetness' of 'developed Delhi'. During this, the BJP government invited people from all sections. The budget to be presented in the Assembly by CM Rekha Gupta today has been made to implement the promises of cleaning the Yamuna river, development in infrastructure and strengthening basic facilities.

BJP's first budget in Delhi after 27 years

The BJP government is going to present the budget in Delhi after 27 years. This is going to be the first budget of BJP. Rekha Gupta, who became the Chief Minister of Delhi after winning the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, will present the Delhi budget today. CM Rekha Gupta is also handling the responsibility of the Finance Ministry. Talking to the media after the Kheer Ceremony organized on Monday, the CM said that this is the first time in the history of the Delhi Assembly that such a ceremony was organized before the budget. 

Delhi's budget will focus on these issues
In the budget to be presented this year, the BJP government is mainly focusing on the development of Delhi. In this, emphasis will be laid on improving education, water, cleaning of Yamuna, health, energy, women prosperity scheme, infrastructure, transport, pollution along with other essential basic facilities. It is being told that while preparing the budget of Delhi, the BJP government has taken care of all the sections and the budget has been prepared according to their benefit.
