New Delhi: BJP National President Nitin Naveen has launched a strong counter-attack against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's objectionable statement labeling Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah as 'traitors'. Nitin Naveen not only termed Rahul Gandhi's statement as unfortunate but also characterized him as possessing an "anarchic mindset." The BJP leader further asserted that Rahul Gandhi and his party would have to pay a heavy price for this.

BJP President Nitin Naveen say?

Speaking to the news agency ANI, BJP President Nitin Naveen stated, "Rahul Gandhi's statement today is highly unfortunate and, in a way, reflects his anarchic mindset... In the realm of Indian politics—which is characterized by integrity, civility, and a tradition of mutual respect—his statement is indeed deeply regrettable."

The BJP President alleged, "Rahul Gandhi's ancestors consistently engaged in the act of mortgaging this country's conscience and its land. They never once worked to boost the morale of the nation's soldiers."

'Is Safeguarding the Nation's Land an Act of Treason?'

Nitin Naveen posed a series of questions to Rahul Gandhi: "Is eradicating Naxalism an act of treason? Is safeguarding this country's land an act of treason? Is ensuring that this country's Tricolor commands respect across the globe an act of treason?"

What Were Rahul Gandhi's Objectionable Remarks?

Currently, Rahul Gandhi—the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha—is visiting his parliamentary constituency, Raebareli, in Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday, while addressing a public gathering there, he made highly objectionable remarks regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Rahul Gandhi declared, "Your Prime Minister is a traitor; your Home Minister is a traitor."

Leveling accusations against the Prime Minister in a derogatory manner, he asserted, "Narendra Modi has sold off India's economic system."

He further alleged that PM Modi has handed over India's entire system to industrialists—specifically Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani—and to the United States. The Congress leader made these controversial statements against the country's Prime Minister at a time when the latter is currently on an official foreign tour.
