New Delhi: Issuing a stern warning to evaluators of Class 10 and 12 board exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cautioned against sharing any information on social media. The CBSE has warned that disciplinary and legal action will be taken against defaulters.

Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examinations at the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), stated, "CBSE has warned evaluators of the Class 10 and 12 Board examinations of legal action if they share information on social media." CBSE emphasized that the evaluation process for Board examinations is confidential and operates under strict regulations; disciplinary action will be taken against those who violate these rules. The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued an advisory for teachers involved in evaluation work.

The issued advisory urges individuals to refrain from sharing misleading information on social media. It further states, "It has come to the Board's notice that certain individuals engaged in the evaluation process for Class X and Class XII examinations are posting comments, opinions, and experiences on social media platforms. Many of these posts are misleading and factually incorrect, and they have the potential to create confusion among concerned parties and spread rumors."

It further adds, "The Board's evaluation process is confidential and governed by strict regulations. Sharing any misleading information, experiences, or opinions related to the evaluation on public forums is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to spread rumors or misrepresent facts on social media will be deemed a violation of professional conduct and may lead to disciplinary action."

"Teachers are advised to exercise restraint and uphold the dignity of the examination system. The Board expects all examiners to maintain confidentiality, dignity, and professionalism while discharging their duties."
