However, officials estimate that 8 to 10 workers and staff remain trapped under the massive debris, raising fears of more casualties. Locals rushed to the site immediately after the collapse but were unable to assist due to the sheer weight of the concrete slabs. Rescue efforts were left to specialized teams. Multi-Agency Rescue Operation Teams from SDRF, GRP, RPF, and local police launched an extensive operation to remove debris and rescue those trapped.
