New Delhi: In a remarkable feat of artistic endurance and creativity, 13-year-old Presley Shekinah from Chennai has set a new world record by creating the largest millet painting ever. On September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, Presley unveiled her monumental artwork, a portrait of the Prime Minister made entirely from 800 kilograms of millet.

Dedication towards art

Presley's achievement is notable not only for its size but also for the sheer dedication involved. The portrait spans an impressive 600 square feet and was completed in a continuous 12-hour session. Presley began her ambitious project at 8:30 AM and worked tirelessly until 8:30 PM, showcasing her commitment and artistic skill.

For her extraordinary accomplishment, Presley has been officially recognized by UNICO World Records in the student achievement category. The accolade was presented by R. Sivaraman, Director of UNICO World Records, who honored Presley with a certificate and a medal. The young artist’s achievement was also celebrated by her school administration, principal, and her proud parents, Pratap Selvam and Sankeerani, along with her extended family.
