"Deeply Shocking": PM Modi Condoles Death of Vedanta Chairman's Son Agnivesh Agarwal (X: @AnilAgarwal_Ved)
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of Agnivesh Agarwal, son of Vedanta Group chairman Anil Agarwal.
The Prime Minister said the news was shocking and extended his condolences to the bereaved family, describing the loss as deeply painful.
In a message posted on X, PM Modi said he was "deeply saddened" by the untimely demise of Agnivesh Agarwal. He conveyed his sympathies to Anil Agarwal and his family and prayed for strength and courage for them during this difficult time.

Agnivesh Agarwal, aged 49, was associated with the Vedanta Group and was known for his work in the business and corporate sector. He was also seen as someone with wide interests beyond business, including sports and music, according to people close to the family.
Agnivesh Agarwal passed away in the US after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest. He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in New York following a recent skiing accident. His sudden death has come as a shock to family members, friends, and the business community.
In a post on X, Vedanta Group Chairman on Wednesday announced the demise of his son, Agnivesh Agarwal, saying that it was the "darkest day of his life".
