Delhi Blast CCTV footage: A high-intensity explosion occurred near the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school in the Prashant Vihar area of Rohini, Delhi, early Sunday morning. The blast, which took place around 7:50 AM, caused minor damage to the school's boundary wall, nearby shops, and a parked car. Fortunately, there was no fire, and authorities have confirmed that the main structure of the school and surrounding buildings remained unaffected.

The explosion was captured by CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity. The footage is now being reviewed by the police to assist in the investigation. The cause of the explosion remains unclear, with authorities considering all possibilities, including the possibility of a firecracker.

Immediate response from authorities

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) confirmed that they received the call about the blast at 7:50 AM and immediately dispatched two fire engines to the scene. Senior police officials, along with bomb squad members and personnel from Delhi Police's Special Cell, arrived shortly after to assess the situation.

A senior police officer present at the scene stated, "Our forensic team and crime unit are collecting samples from the blast area. While it could potentially be from a firecracker, all possibilities are being thoroughly explored."

Severe investigation underway

The area around the blast site has been cordoned off as forensic teams continue their examination. Authorities are leaving no stone unturned in investigating the cause of the explosion and ensuring the safety of the public.
