New Delhi: During the investigation of the Delhi car blast, security agencies have found a new name—Commander Hanzulla. This is the same person who sent 42 videos of bomb making to Dr. Muzammil of Al-Falah University. These videos were shared at a time when the module was planning attacks across the country. Investigation revealed that Muzammil had met this handler through Maulvi Irfan Wage, who played a role in connecting the two.

What was the role of Hanjula?

According to security agencies, Hanzullah may be an active member of Jaish-e-Mohammed based in Pakistan. His complete details are not available yet, but it is clear that he worked under a pseudonym. The same name was also found on the posters that were found put up in the Naugam area on October 18. The security forces were clearly threatened in these posters, and videos of bomb making were also sent along with them.

How did Turkey's connection come to light?

The investigation progressed further and reached Turkey. It was learned that Dr. Muqzammil and Dr. Umar Unn Nabi had gone to Turkey, where they were scheduled to meet another Pakistani handler, Ukasa. But the meeting could not take place. After their return, a shocking fact came to light about them—both the accused claimed to have killed Ukasa during his visit to Turkey. However, the veracity of this claim is still a matter of investigation.

Why increased attention on Al-Falah University?

The name of Al-Falah University is continuously coming up in the investigation of the Delhi blasts and the white-collar module exposed thereafter. After the arrest of several doctors, Faridabad Police has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the activities of the university. This SIT includes two assistant police commissioners, one inspector, and two sub-inspectors. The team is preparing a detailed report on the suspicious activities that took place in the university.

Who else came on the radar of investigation?

According to sources, the agencies have also detained a cab driver, a cleric, and an Urdu teacher. All three are being interrogated to find out how widespread the module's activities were in India and who was involved in it.

The investigating agencies are now trying to investigate the international links and funding of this entire network. The Delhi Blast has exposed a module that tried to destabilize the country by hiding behind academic identities.
