Grand Chhath Puja: The Delhi government has put in all its strength for Chhath Puja. More than 1,300 ghats are being prepared in the city. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and Culture Minister Kapil Mishra visited Vasudev Ghat. Cleanliness, lighting, security—everything was checked. The minister said, This will be the biggest Chhath so far in Delhi. For the first time, the puja will be held with full respect and pride on the banks of Yamuna. The previous government insulted Purvanchalis and banned Chhath. Now the people of Purvanchal will celebrate with dignity.

AAP taunted that BJP's love for Purvanchali is only because of Bihar elections. Leader Vinay Mishra said, "When elections come near, they remember; otherwise, they talk about driving them away from Delhi."

Night shifts for women

The Delhi government has allowed women to work night shifts in shops and commercial places. Written consent will be required. An internal complaints committee will have to be formed. You will get double salary for overtime. No more than 48 hours of work a week. No duty for more than five hours continuously. Security, transportation, and CCTV are mandatory. The POSH Act will be followed. The Lieutenant Governor had earlier given approval. Now the Labor Department added two new entries to the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act of 1954.
