New Delhi: There is good news for the people of Delhi-NCR. The humidity will be less in the next few days and the weather will be cool. According to IMD, there will be clouds in and around the capital from August 4 to 8. There may be occasional drizzle and heavy rain in some places. There will also be 30-40 kmph wind and thunder. Yellow alert has also been issued in Delhi today for 4th August.
There are chances of intermittent rain in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and West UP from 4th to 8th August. The weather may worsen especially in the morning, evening and night. If the sky is cloudy throughout the day, then the heat will be less and the temperature will come down a bit.
There is yellow alert today. It will be cloudy throughout the day. There may be light to heavy rain 2-3 times. There may be showers with lightning even at night.
Heavy rains are expected in Northeast and Eastern India in the next week. Heavy rain may occur in Arunachal, Assam, Meghalaya, Bengal and Sikkim. There is a possibility of heavy rain for 7 consecutive days in many districts of Kerala and Karnataka.
There may be heavy rain in J&K, Himachal and Uttarakhand from 3rd to 7th August. At many places, there may be wind speed of 30-40 kmph along with storms and lightning. There is a danger of landslides in hilly areas, so people should be careful.
The weather will remain wet in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh from 4 to 6 August. Rain will continue in West UP from 3rd to 7th August and in East UP till 8th August. There are chances of heavy rain and storms in many places in East Rajasthan too.
There may be good rain in MP with strong wind up to 50 kmph between August 6 and 9.
There is alert in entire eastern MP including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain from 5th to 9th August.
There will be rain in Chhattisgarh till 9th and in Vidarbha on 7-8 August.
There will be rain in Jharkhand till 7th August, in Bihar till 5th August and in Bengal from 4th to 9th August. There will be rain at many places in Andaman and Nicobar from 4th to 9th August.
Do not go out without work in strong wind and rain. Do not stand under trees and pillars. Stay indoors in case of lightning. Follow the guidelines of the administration in areas with heavy rains.
