Lawrence Bishnoi Gang: Delhi Police's Special Cell has arrested two members of Lawrence Bishnoi gang during a late night operation in New Ashok Nagar area. This action took place after an encounter in which one of the accused was shot. Both the arrested criminals are sons of notorious gangster Harry Boxer living in America.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police had received information that two members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang were active in the New Ashok Nagar area. Based on this information, the police laid a trap in the area. When the police tried to stop these criminals, they started firing at the police. In retaliation, the police shot one of the accused in the leg and took both of them into custody. The vigilance and quick action of the police in this operation averted a major incident.
According to sources, the names of the arrested criminals are Kartik Jakhar and Kavish. Both of them are sons of US-based gangster Harry Boxer. More than half a dozen criminal cases are already registered against Harry Boxer. The arrest of Kartik and Kavish is considered a major success of Delhi Police against the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
During the encounter, both the criminals fired at the police, in response to which the police also had to fire. During this, one of the accused was shot in the leg, after which both were overpowered. The police immediately took both of them into custody and the injured accused was sent to the hospital for treatment. This action has helped in preventing crime in the area.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been carrying out criminal activities in Delhi and other states for a long time. This gang has been involved in murder, extortion and other serious crimes. The arrest of Karthik and Kavish is expected to further crackdown on the activities of this gang. The police is now interrogating them to trace other members of the gang and their network.
